I have owned Tantor for about a year and planned to train him into part of my string but now am trying to downsize my llama herd. Tantor halters easily and leads well. He has started pack training an been on a few day trips with light weight. He still needs more confidence and experience within the string. His left pastern is a little weak or I would be asking more for him. It is not severe and doesn’t seem to negatively impact his gait, but I would consider him a medium weight packer because of this. Price will increase through fall and winter as I work with him more and get him more experience.
